Following their recent graduation, four friends distract themselves from the looming responsibilities of adulthood. But as the boundaries between real and surreal blur, they are faced with decisions that will define the rest of their lives.

Suburban Wildlife, a coming of age film set in Sydney suburbs as a young woman must reconcile her sexuality, her adulthood and her self destructive ways. It is considered a 'micro-budget' indie film as the entire production cost 4000AUD.

CHEN PM 3010 | 2018 - 2019 | WEBSERIES

Role: development producer

Development producer for comedic web series funded by Screen Australia Generate Development entitled CHEN PM 3010 created by and starring comedian and TV personality, Aaron Chen. In the year 3010, when no one wants to be Prime Minister of Australia, a lottery is drawn and Aaron Chen must rise to the occasion and deal with the responsibly of running the country. Concept art drawn by Jayden Chessells. 

*The project didn't go into production because of Aaron's schedule and the pandemic.

  • Rat Klub is a weekly comedy night at MoshPit in Newtown, showcasing a diverse mix of Sydney’s funniest comedians and up-and-comers. I don't run this anymore but Ryan Sim still keeps the room alive!

  • Produced and co-presented over 30 episodes of the podcast "Were You Hot in High School?" - Comedians, Bea Barbeau-Scurla and Lauren Bonner try to get to the bottom of the burning question on everyone's mind - "Were You Hot in High School?" Every week Bea and Lauren interview an array of comedians, athletes, writers and other interesting guests to chat about their teen experience. Funny and provocative, this podcast offers a nostalgic and insightful peek into the world of teen angst, body issues, sexuality and self-esteem. With guests like Matt Okine, Becky Lucas, Michael Hing and Melanie Bracewell.

  • Worked on two major screenwriting projects; horror/comedy Feature film - Birderer and drama/comedy television show - Fox. Both are still in development. My thesis for my masters centred around the use of anthropomorphism (the showing or treating of animals, gods, and objects as if they are human in appearance, character, or behaviour) as a comedic device to tell stories about trauma and dark subject matter in film and television.

  • Produced three short films in final year film school: "Gronks" (dir. Alexei Toliopoulos), "Witch Hunties" (dir. Michail Mathioudakis) and "On Mountains We Stand" (dir. Alexei Toliopoulos) which later was transformed into the amazing podcast "Finding Drago" by Alexei Toliopoulos and Cameron James.

    Wrote and produced experimental short-film "Psychostasia"(dir. Béatrice Barbeau-Scurla) in first year film school.
